Pre-SGT career[]

2005-2010: Formula One testing[]

Rossiter was a test driver for BAR, Honda and Super Aguri. After Super Aguri withdrew from F1 in 2008, Rossiter did not found a team to be a test driver on in 2009. However in 2010, being signed for the new US F1 Team, the team folded, and Rossiter got no F1 drive.

2012-2013: Force India test driver[]

In 2012, Rossiter joined Force India as a test and simulator driver.

However in 2013, Rossiter was supposed to drive for the first Free Practice session of the 8th round of Formula One, but missed out due to bad weather.

2013[]

Rossiter joined Team TOM'S, replacing Frenchman Loïc Duval.
