The 2008 Super GT Season was the 14th season of the All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship. The new car for the GT500 Class was the Nissan GT-R R35, which replaced the Nissan 350Z. Honda NSX-GT had a facelift on the bodykit for the season.

No Michelin tyres were used in any one of the GT500 teams.

In the qualifying round, some drivers who reached in the Top 3 list, will get bonus points after the race.
